Membership

We have a wide variety of membership options for curlers of all ages and skill levels. When you compare curling to the cost of most other sports and activities it is one of the most economical sport activities available. The curling season at Galt runs 22 weeks from late September to the end of March. We’ve included on our membership table below the approx cost per week for each membership option.

Membership Options

Adult Limited membership enables a curler to register and play in any ONE league with the opportunity to spare up to 6 times total in any of the other leagues.

Adult Unlimited is the best membership option for someone who want to curl often. Our unlimited membership enables the curler to participate in any or all of our leagues with unlimited sparing opportunity.

Couple membership offers a modest discount to those couple who want to sign up together to play in leagues either individually or together.

Student memberships are available to students aged 19-25 enrolled in full time post secondary institution. For Junior members who wish to participate in any of our adult leagues excluding the Friday Mixed, we ask that they obtain a student membership.

Junior memberships are for youth aged 12-20 participating in our Bantam / Junior Intramural League or the new Bantam / Junior Competitive League. For youth wanting to participate in both leagues an extra $50.00 is required.

Little Rock members aged 6-11 enjoy our most economical rate at the club. For 22 weeks of curling the rate works out to just $5.00 / week.

Youth Competitive is a new league for 2009 / 10. For Juniors or Little Rocks wishing to participate in this league only, simply register for the Little Rock or Junior membership and sign up for the league. For youth curlers wishing to participate in any 2 of the youth leagues simply add $50.00 to your membership.

Tuesday 19-35 membership is an 8 week membership enabling curlers to participate in either the Fall or Winter session. This membership is restricted to just this league.
